How do we complete and ship your order?

Orders placed on our website are all downloaded to be processed the following business day. We are an Irish company so “business day” means Monday to Friday.  Orders are processed on a FIFO system ( First In, First Out ).

We use AnPost international parcel delivery as our standard form of shipment.  We only send parcels via Registered Delivery so that there is a tracking number assigned to each delivery.  Once delivered to AnPost, the shipment time is out of our control and subject to the usual delivery times for your country from Ireland.  Typically, shipments will take 10 to 14 days.  During peak seasons such as Christmas, this delivery time may be substantially longer.

 

How long does it take for my order to be packed and shipped ?

During peak seasons, there may be a longer delay in shipping your order.

In some cases, if a stock item is missing from your order, we may hold your order for a few days until the item is back in stock.  If this will take longer than a few days, we will contact you and ask if you would like the shipment sent without the item or a substitute item instead.

 

How do we calculate shipping charges?

As you add items to your shopping basket, the weight of your basket increases. Once you enter the shipping address, the shipping charge is calculated.

These shipping charges are then added to your order.

If you are ordering goods to be delivered within the EU, unfortunately we must add VAT to your order where it is applicable to the goods you have ordered.  This will be added to your final total at the checkout.  If your goods are being delivered outside of the EU we don't need to add VAT.  VAT is chargeable on all confectionery, biscuits etc.  VAT is not chargeable on general groceries.

 

What if my order doesn’t arrive?

We cannot take responsibility for a parcel that was spoiled or lost as a result of an incorrect shipping address entered in the order.
 

If a package is lost in transit PaddySnax will endeavour to work with AnPost to find and retrieve the parcel.  In the event that this cannot be traced, PaddySnax will refund your money.  We will not send replacement packages.  If you wish a replacement package you must re-order.

PLEASE make sure you have a correct and valid shipping address. This is the most common mistake people make and everybody loses out as we can not refund any portion of the cost as a result of an incorrect shipping address.
 

We cannot take responsibility for a parcel that was spoiled as a result of nobody present to receive the parcel when it arrives at the shipping address.
 

PLEASE make sure there is somebody there to receive the package when it arrives. If we ship the goods to a shipping address and there is nobody there to accept the goods then we can take no responsibility for any damage or missing parcels. 

 

What happens if there are items missing from my order?

Inside your order is a packing slip which indicates how many of each item you ordered and how many were shipped. 

You are never charged for items that were not shipped to you even if you ordered them.

Please remember that we accept no liability for being out of stock of any item ordered which was not in stock at time of packing and shipping your order.

If you believe there are items missing from your order, please contact us via email with your query and we will investigate and come back to you via email.

 

Can I cancel my order?

You can cancel your order at any time without reason, within 24 hours of ordering. After that it may well be that the parcel has been shipped and we cannot retrieve it.  Should you wish to cancel your order and receive a refund, you must confirm this via email to info@paddysnax.com.  Once we receive your email, and it is within the 24 hour cancellation period, we will refund your money through the system you paid (ie credit card / Paypal).  We do not issue credit notes to be used against future orders..

 

Do PaddySnax ship internationally?

We certainly do!

We are restricted, however, on a country by country basis as to the products we are allowed to send due to customs regulations.  For instance, we cannot send any product containing fruit, seeds etc to Australia.  Where customs regulations prohibit us from sending specific items in an order we will contact you via email suggesting a safer alternative product.  Where no email address is provided or when we do not receive a response within 2 business days we will go ahead with the substitution.

 

Will Customs taxes and charges apply?

Certain countries also apply taxes and surcharges to imported goods to be paid by the receiver in that country.  PaddySnax has no control over this and cannot be held liable for payment of these charges.  If such charges are levied, it is the responsibility of the receiving party to pay these charges.  If the charges are not paid, the shipment will, probably, be held by the customs authorities in that country.
